Please note: This is not Nightfly's official adult mane style; I'm playing around with ideas until I find something I'm comfortable with.

Trying to get back into the swing of art and dolling, decided to go for the adult versions of Nightfly and Zephyr.

Before anyone asks: Nightfly is daughter of King Sombra and Luna, Zephyr is Luna's adoptive son. (Adopted after his father was killed in battle against dragons - his birth mother died at childbirth)

Figured with Zephyr in her life now, Nightfly would be able to grow up to be a bit more friendly than I had originally intended for her.

Also finally designed a cutie mark for Zephyr:


Whereas it is Nightfly's job to create star formations and meteor showers, it is his job to keep the night sky clear or cloudy; depending on the weather chart for that night. Compared to how Weather Ponies keep the sky clear in the daytime, he is a Weather Pony for the night.

Luna did not want Zephyr joining to Royal Force, because after raising him and loving him as her own son, she does not want him to meet the same fate as his father did before him. She is terrified of losing him, and Nightfly would probably go back to her old, morose, antisocial ways if something happened to Zephyr.

Remember: In my Next Gen, they are filly and colt; I just wanted to draw them AS adults.
