(Apple Bloom followed Diamond Tiara to the outskirts of Ponyville until they got to a house Apple Bloom had never seen before)

AB: Where are we?

DT: *smiles at Apple Bloom* This is a very special place, Apple Bloom. Not many ponies know it's here, because sadly; not many ponies know about it. It began as a home owned business that began taking homeless or lost ponies in who needed shelter; but they also took in foals whose parents couldn't take care of them, or were left abandoned. Come on in.

(Apple Bloom follows Diamond Tiara inside the building - Diamond walks up to the front desk while Apple Bloom looks around, reading newspaper clippings on the wall)

AB: "Lonely Hearts Foster Home: Awarded the Family is Forever banner, for finding homes for eleven colts and fillies in need during the cold season".. Foster home? *turns to Diamond as she's walking back* This is a foster home?

DT: Partially, come with me.

AB: Diamond, I really appreciate this and all, but, do you really think I'd be a good mother? I mean, it's not that I've never considered adoption, but what if I'm a bad mother? I don't know the first thing about raising a foal.

DT: Apple Bloom, trust me; if I didn't think you'd be a good mother, I wouldn't have brought you here. And believe me, once you meet these foals, they might make the decision for you! *smiling*

AB: Foals? How many do you think I should adopt?!

DT: *giggles* You'll understand when you see them.. you see, these two are very special foals. They refuse to be seperated and must be adopted together.. I have a feeling you're just the pony they've been waiting for. Oh, truth is, they are the last foals to be adopted out... One couple almost took the colt once, but he refused to leave his sister so the couple changed their minds. I've been coming here every few weeks or so to read to them, they really are wonderful little foals. *stops at a half door on a blue dotted wall* Here we are!

AB: I don't understand though, why wouldn't anypony want them? They sound like sweet foals to me.

DT: Well as I said, they're different, and would require a bit more work to take care of.. I suppose some ponies don't have the time or wish to put in the effort to raise foals like them... As adoption agencies go, most families go for the healthy newborns over, well.. these sweeties. Sadly... But I have a feeling you'll change all that. Go ahead, look in; they're the only ones in there.

(Hesitantly, Apple Bloom peered over the half door and looked into the room - After a few seconds of scanning, she saw them, and almost immediately, her heart melted)
